A procedure has been opened with a public announcement for determining a contractor with the subject "Purchase of a System for dyke monitoring in the Kalimok-Brashlen Protected Area (KBPA) under the Project 101113015 — DaWetRest“ in the implementation of Danube Wetlands and flood plains Restoration through systemic, community engaged and sustainable innovative actions (DaWetRest) project, which is co-funded by the European Union Horizon Europe programme (HORIZON-MISS-2022-OCEAN-O1-02), under Grant Agreement no. 101113015 with beneficiary Scortel Ltd.
The selection of a contractor during the procedure is carried out on the basis of the most economically advantageous offer, with the criteria "optimal quality/price ratio".
Offers are submitted via EUMIS 2020 system (https://eumis2020.government.bg) with a deadline 10.06.2024.
Date and place of opening of the offers: 11.06.2024 from 09:00 am at the address: Sofia, zh.k. Druzhba 2, 29 Deliyska Vodenitsa Str., 1st floor.

During the meeting-seminar, which took place on April 25 in the building of the Natural History Museum "Srebarna", presentations were made by CAWRI-BAS, RUNI and Scortel, who presented the project's goals and tasks, its innovation potential, as well as the general plan for the realization of the activities on the territory of the pilot sites of the demonstrator.
The meeting was attended by 18 representatives of all partners in the Lower Danube DEMO
(CAWRI-BAS, RUNI, RIEW-Ruse, ADRM, Scortel, and the preparation was carried out by RIEWRuse, ADRM and RUNI. 15 representatives of stakeholders (local authorities, representatives of state institutions, other stakeholders) were also present. The event was opened by the Mayor of Tutrakan Municipality (Member of the Management Board of ADRM; DaWetrest Associated Partner) and the Chairman of the Municipal Council in Silistra (Municipality of Silistra is also a DaWetRest Associated Partner).
A written questionnaire was prepared, with the help of which an assessment was given by the stakeholders of the possibilities and prospects of the project, as well as some aspects of the current state of the protected area.
After the inspection of Lake Srebarna, on April 26, two of the pilot sites were visited – Garvanovo Marshes and Malak Preslavets Marsh. Photographs were taken (RIEW-Ruse) and observation points were marked, the possibilities of approach to the observation points were reviewed in accordance with the observation plan.
